Jagtial Youth Dies by Suicide in Bahrain on Birthday, Family Suspects Foul Play
The news of his sudden death has left the family devastated.

Karimnagar: A 26-year-old youth from Jagtial town died by suicide under suspicious circumstances in Bahrain on his birthday, raising doubts about the cause of his death.
According to police, the deceased, Anumandla Kalyan, a resident of Krishna Nagar Colony in Jagtial, had gone to Bahrain about 10 months ago and was working at a car wash centre. His parents were informed of his death by his roommates abroad.
Family members expressed serious doubts over the circumstances of his death, saying Kalyan had spoken to them cheerfully just a day earlier and was planning to celebrate his birthday. The news of his sudden death has left the family devastated.
Kalyan’s parents said he had recently paid money to obtain a working visa to switch to a higher-paying job, as his current income was insufficient. However, he was allegedly cheated in the visa process and never received the promised job opportunity.
Overwhelmed with grief, the family said their son had gone abroad seeking a better life but was returning home in a coffin. They have appealed to the state and Central governments to help bring Kalyan’s body back to Jagtial for the last rites.
Meanwhile, police suspect that job-related frustration and mental stress following the work visa fraud may have driven Kalyan to take the extreme step.
