Jagtial: Love Couple End Life After Engagement

A couple in love got engaged with the consent of their families. Even after the engagement, the duo died by suicide separately. After the engagement, the boy told the girl that they would get married after he earns well and left for Gulf.
Within six months of reaching Gulf, the boy, Makkala Saikumar, 22, ended life by suicide unable to overcome the financial problems. Learning about his death, his love, Olle Sruthi , 20, also ended her life in Siripur village, Mallapur mandal, Jagtial district.
Saikumar was a native of Paatadaamrajupalli. Their families performed the engagement seven months ago. However, Saikumar was not happy with the tin-sheet roofed shed he was living in and told Sruthi he would marry her only after constructing a pucca house. Accordingly, he left for Bahrain and worked as a daily wage labourer. His family was informed about Sai's death on May 1.
Learning about Sai's death, Sruthi got dejected and ended life by hanging herself to the fan on the same day.
