Jagga Reddy Extends Rs 10L Aid to Cancer Patient

The TPCC working president said that he would bring the troubles of poor cancer patients to the notice of the Chief Minister. Aamani told Jagga Reddy that she had spent Rs 7 lakh on cancer treatment so far.

Sangareddy: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and former MLA T. Jagga Reddy called upon donors to come forward to help the poor cancer patients. These patients are unable to access the treatment and suffering from health and financial issues, he said. He welcomed the decision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to conduct free cancer tests across the state.

Jagga Reddy handed over Rs 10 lakh cash to cancer patient Aamani in Sadasivpet on Tuesday. He said that Aamani’s husband died and she is staying with her two daughters. Unable to bear the health and financial problems, Aamani decided to commit suicide, he said. “Noticing her situation, I decided to help her,” he explained.
