Jagadish Reddy Behind Tapping My Phone: BC leader

“There is no doubt that Jagadish Reddy ordered the tapping of political leaders’ phones in the erstwhile Nalgonda district”: Vatti Janaiah

NALGONDA:BC Associations state coordinator and former DCMS chairman Vatti Janaiah on Saturday accused former minister and Suryapet MLA G. Jagadish Reddy of orchestrating the tapping of his phone during the previous BRS government. Special Investigation Team officials have summoned Janaiah to record his statement on July 14 regarding the alleged surveillance.

Speaking at a media conference, Janaiah, once a staunch supporter of Jagadish Reddy who later contested against him as an independent after falling out, said Jagadish Reddy could not tolerate his rise as a BC leader and retaliated by implicating him in 60 false cases. He also accused Jagadish Reddy of misappropriating public funds under the guise of development projects during the BRS’s decade in power.

“There is no doubt that Jagadish Reddy ordered the tapping of political leaders’ phones in the erstwhile Nalgonda district,” Janaiah asserted. He expressed confidence in the SIT and confirmed he will appear before them on the scheduled date.
