IT Minister Sridhar Babu Meets Union Minister Goyal, Discusses Key Initiatives
Piyush Goyal to attend BioAsia conference in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu personally extended a formal invitation to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal to attend BioAsia 2025 on February 26 in Hyderabad.
The premier life sciences and healthcare event brings together global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to drive innovation and collaboration in the sector. Appreciating the efforts of Sridhar Babu to promote life sciences industry and investments, Goyal confirmed that he will participate in the event and interact with the global leaders attending the event.
The Minister also sought the Union government’s support for the establishment of Mega Leather Parks (MLPs) in Telangana in Rukmapur village in Karimnagar and Station Ghanpur village in Jangoan district. Telangana government has requested for Central assistance from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for the development of Mega Leather Parks and their associated infrastructure, including Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs).
Sridhar Babu also briefed the Union Minister about the progress of NICDC in Zaheerabad and requested for expeditious approvals and release of funds.
Further, Sridhar Babu personally conveyed Telangana’s confirmation for participation in the Osaka Expo 2025, where the State will showcase its innovation, industrial prowess, and business potential on a global platform.
He handed over a letter from the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy confirming Telangana’s participation.
