Issue Bhudhar Numbers for Agricultural Lands, Says Revanth

The surveys conducted by licensed surveyors and the scrutiny of the reports by regular surveyors were also discussed at the meeting

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to take steps for the allocation of Bhudhar numbers for agricultural lands across the state. He also instructed officials to develop a mechanism for the speedy completion of mutations and the registration of inherited properties.

At a review meeting of the revenue and housing departments at the Integrated Command Control Centre on Wednesday, the Chief Minister enquired about the status of applications received during the recently held Bhu Bharati revenue meetings.

The surveys conducted by licensed surveyors and the scrutiny of the reports by regular surveyors were also discussed at the meeting. Officials were directed to complete the scrutiny by regular surveyors expeditiously.

The officials briefed the Chief Minister about the plans to construct integrated sub-registrar offices.

The Chief Minister reviewed the designs of 10 new sub-registrar offices to be constructed in the Core Urban Area and suggested providing facilities such as parking, canteens, and other basic infrastructure for the convenience of visitors. He stressed that the offices should function in a people-friendly environment.

When officials brought to the Chief Minister’s attention the completion of Indiramma houses in several districts across the state, Revanth Reddy instructed the authorities to make arrangements for the inauguration of houses for the poor by the end of August. He also directed officials to resolve problems in the joint venture projects with the housing board in Hyderabad.

Revenue and housing minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, principal secretaries to the CM V. Seshadri and K.S. Srinivasa Raju, secretary to the CM K. Manicka Raj, CCLA Secretary D.S. Lokesh Kumar, special secretary for registrations and stamps Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, special secretary for housing V.P. Gautam, and others were present.
