Intuc Plaint Against Ambati

Intuc Telangana state senior vice-president Janak Prasad and general secretary R.D. Chandrashekar met the DGP and filed the complaint

Hyderabad: The Indian National Trade Union Congress (Intuc), a leading trade union, has lodged a complaint with the police against Ambati Krishnamurthy, alleging that he has been falsely projecting himself as the organisation’s president. Dr G. Sanjeeva Reddy is the president of Intuc, they said,

The Intuc leaders submitted a complaint to DGP Dr Jitender on Saturday stating that Krishnamurthy was misusing the organisation’s name and insignia without authorisation, thereby attempting to tarnish the reputation of the organisation.

Intuc Telangana state senior vice-president Janak Prasad and general secretary R.D. Chandrashekar met the DGP and filed the complaint.

“Under the leadership of Dr G. Sanjeeva Reddy, national president of Intuc, our organisation has been tirelessly working for the rights of workers for decades and has achieved many milestones. However, in recent times, Ambati Krishnamurthy has been falsely claiming a position he does not hold, and is using INTUC’s name, logos, and banners for his personal gains. This is a criminal act,” the Intuc leaders said.

They expressed concern that such actions were causing confusion among the working community and undermining the foundational goals of the organisation. The leaders urged the DGP to take immediate action against Krishnamurthy and restrain him from using the Intuc name, logo, or any banners related to the organisation.

The Intuc delegation which met the DGP also included state leaders Dharmapuri, Kampelli Sammayya, Thyagarajan, Adil Shareef, Shankar Rao, and Vikas Kumar Yadav.
