Inter-State Child Trafficking Racket Busted In Suryapet, 10 Held
All rescued infants were produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and moved to the government-run Shishu Gruha in Nalgonda, District Welfare Officer K. Narsimha Rao said.

Nalgonda: Suryapet police busted a 13-member child-trafficking ring that allegedly sold at least 20 infants to childless couples for prices ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹10 lakh. Ten children — seven boys and three girls, all under two years old — were rescued.
Superintendent of Police K. Narasimha told reporters that prime suspects Nakka Yadagiri (45) and his wife Nakka Umarani (32), who run an egg-trading business, scouted couples desperate for babies and set prices according to gender: girls: ₹10,000 – ₹2 lakh; boys: ₹5 lakh – ₹10 lakh.
The arrested gang members were identified as Nakka Yadagiri (45), Nakka Umarani (32) from Suryapet, Kore Nagendra Kumar (37), Kotte Rama Laxmi(37), a nurse, Pilla Pavani, ( 37), Garikamukku Vijaya Laxmi (42), Amudalapalli Satyamani(46) from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, Mudavath Raju(35) from Achampet in Nagar Kurnool district, Itha Shobarani(52) from Hyderabad, Khan Shaheena(33) from Rajastan, Md. Shahana (40) from in Suryapet district, a driver Sabavath Sriniv(22) from Hyderabad, a nurse Erpula Sunitha (32) from Hyderabad.
Garikamukku Vijaya laxmi, Amudalapalli SatyamaniMudavath Raju from Achampet, Itha Shobarani and Khan Shaheena already face trafficking cases in Medipally, Mangalagiri, Jangaon and Mumbai CID files. Raids in Suryapet, Nalgonda and Hyderabad recovered six boys and three girls; one more boy was traced to Hyderabad and three other villages. Police believe the gang also operated in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Medchal and Ranga Reddy districts.

The CWC is working with District Child Protection officials to locate biological parents and arrange legal adoption where appropriate.
Police are searching for another ten children thought to have been sold by the same network. “We will track every missing child and bring the perpetrators to justice,” SP Narasimha vowed.
