Hyderabad: Instamart and Young India Skills University have signed an MoU to launch a skill-based training programme aimed at preparing Telangana youth for employment in the quick commerce sector.
The collaboration, announced on Tuesday, is expected to train more than 5,000 youth over the coming years. The programme will focus on operational and managerial skills required in fast-paced retail and logistics environments, particularly dark store operations.
As part of the partnership, Instamart’s logistics arm Scootsy and the university will offer a three-month course combining classroom learning with structured field exposure. The curriculum will cover store operations, supply chain execution, service delivery standards and last-mile coordination.
Students completing the programme and internship will be equipped for entry-level supervisory roles such as store manager trainees. The MoU also includes plans to establish a training lab and a centre of excellence at the university’s permanent campus in Future City, Hyderabad, to support hands-on learning.
