Indiramma Rajyam understands poor: Ponguleti

Warangal (Hanamkonda): Karimnagar district in-charge minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, accompanied by endowment minister Konda Surekha, inaugurated four new welfare schemes — Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa, Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Housing Scheme, and new Ration Cards — during a programme at Kyathampalli village in Dharmasagar mandal on Saturday.

Addressing the public gathered there, Ponguleti highlighted that under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership, the Indiramma Rajyam has successfully completed its first year. He emphasised the state’s dedication to implementing these schemes across 600 villages and mandals, ensuring that no eligible person is excluded while preventing ineligible persons from receiving benefits.

Ponguleti criticised the previous BRS government for its alleged favouritism and failure to conduct village meetings, contrasting it with the current administration's transparent approach through gram sabhas. He assured that the Congress government remains steadfast in fulfilling its promises, despite financial constraints inherited from the former administration.

“As long as you are poor, the Indiramma government is here to deliver these benefits to your doorsteps without bias. It is the government that understands the struggles of the poor,” the minister said.

He also accused the BRS of misleading the people of Telangana by accumulating debt and making unfulfilled promises, asserting that the current government is dedicated to genuine welfare and development.
