Indigo Flight To Hyderabad Diverted To Gannavaram Amid Bad Weather

Hyderabad:An Indigo flight from Pune to Hyderabad carrying 187 passengers made an emergency landing at Gannavaram Airport in Krishna district after adverse weather conditions prevented it from landing in Hyderabad.

The flight reportedly circled over the Shamshabad airport vicinity for a considerable time before the pilot decided to divert it to Gannavaram as weather conditions failed to improve. Passengers were said to be anxious as the aircraft remained airborne for an extended period amid uncertainty over landing.

Tension eased after the flight landed safely at Gannavaram airport. Following the emergency landing, airport authorities reportedly kept the aircraft stationed on the runway for nearly two hours.
