Indian Football Team Will Make it to World Cup: Revanth

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his passion for football and optimism about India’s future in the sport, stating that the country will one day play in the FIFA World Cup final and even host the tournament.

In a post on X, Reddy described himself as a “die-hard sports and football lover” and recalled bringing Lionel Messi to Hyderabad, where the global icon interacted with children from Telangana.

Highlighting a broader vision behind his support for the FIFA World Cup, the Chief Minister said he believes several future stars of the India national football team will emerge from Telangana.

“Mark my word, several of those future stars will be from Telangana,” he said, urging fans to enjoy the World Cup final.
