IMD Issues Yellow Alert To Hyd And Other Districts For Monday
IMD forecasts thunderstorms and gusty winds of 30-40 km/h in Hyderabad and several Telangana districts on Monday.

While the state is preparing for Ganesh Chaturthi for Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert and forecast thunderstorms along with 30-40 km/h of gusty winds on Monday for Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts in isolated locations.
The IMD also issued a yellow alert and thunderstorm warning for Monday for Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts as well.
Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) has also forecast light to moderate rainfall for Monday across the state, and forecast moderate rainfall for Peddapalli, Karimnagar Hanumakonda, Warangal, Jangaon and parts of Mancherial, Jagtial, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Suryapet and Mahabubabad districts for Tuesday.
TGDPS also declared that Nizamabad’s Saloora received the highest rainfall on Sunday with 53.8 mm of rainfall, followed by Navipet with 37.8 mm, Peddapalli’s Manthani with 34 mm, and Nizamabad’s Ranjal and Lakmapoor with 27 mm and 24.8 mm of rainfall respectively.
Hyderabad saw light rainfall on Sunday, with Malkajgiri receiving 7.8 mm of rain, Moula Ali receiving 7.5 mm, Dungidal receiving 6 mm and Saroornagar receiving 2 mm of rainfall.
For Tuesday, IMD issued a yellow alert and again forecast thunderstorms along with 30-40 km/h gusty winds at isolated places in Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda districts.
