IMD Issues Red Alert for Komarambheem Asifabad District
IMD issued an orange alert informing heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad and Mancherial

Hyderabad: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert informing that very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Komarambheem Asifabad district from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning.
It issued an orange alert informing heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad and Mancherial. This was stated by IMD in a special weather report issued on Tuesday afternoon. The report was issued to Telangana Chief Secretary, Special Chief Secretary, Disaster Management, Director TGICCC, District Collectors concerned and GHMC.
The IMD said heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in isolated places in Nirmal, Jagityal, Peddapalli, Jayashanker Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Kamareddy districts. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with 30-40 kmph very likely occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana.
The impact of heavy rain would lead to massive water pooling on roads and low lying areas in most places apart from traffic congestion at most locations, and wet and slippery roads.
Electricity, water and other social disturbances for a few hours are likely to occur, apart from drainage clogging, tree and electric poles fall in addition to breaches to water bodies.
In Hyderabad, it will be generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds with 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur.
