IMD Issued Yellow Warning to Hyderabad, Other Districts on Friday
Hyderabad to see cloudy skies and thundershowers

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad said that a few pockets would receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers within Telangana on Saturday. For the city, the weather bureau forecast a cloudy sky, with parts of the city experiencing light to moderate rain or thundershowers.
On Friday, areas like Madhapur, Gachibowli, Ameerpet, Miyapur, Patancheru, Golconda, BHEL, Nallagandla, Kondapur, etc., saw scattered rainfall between 8 pm and 10 pm, while the rest of the city observed drizzles and light rain. The weather bureau had sounded a yellow caution to the city and its adjacent districts of Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy.
According to the data released by the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Mulugu’s Eturnagaram recorded the highest rainfall on Friday with 115.3 mm of rainfall, ahead of Warangal’s Geesukonda with 74 mm, Warangal’s Paidipally with 63 mm, Hanmakonda with 61.3 mm and Jogulamba Gadwal district’s Dharur with 58.3 mm.
In the city, Asifnagar recorded the highest rain with 19.5 mm of rainfall, with Gachibowli and Mehdipatnam both recording 17 mm, Begum Bazara’s Doodhkhana recording 16.8 mm and Golkonda’s Langer Houz and Shaikpet both recording 15.8 mm of rainfall until 08 pm on Friday.
