IMD Forecasts 2–3°C Rise in Maximum Temperatures in Telangana
The IMD said dry weather was likely to prevail over Telangana after gradual rise in temperatures for three days

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the maximum temperatures were likely to rise gradually by two degrees Celsius to three degrees Celsius during the next three days in several districts in Telangana.
In its seven-day weather bulletin issued till April 14 on Thursday, the IMD said dry weather was likely to prevail over Telangana after gradual rise in temperatures for three days.
However, the temperatures are expected to hover between 41 degrees Celsius to 44 degrees Celsius from April 10 to 12 in Adilabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Khammam, Komaram-Bheem, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet and Wanaparthy. But in Hyderabad, the temperatures would be between 36 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.
The IMD advised people to avoid heat exposure, keep cool and avoid dehydration. It asked them to drink sufficient water even if not thirsty and use ORS, homemade drinks like lassi, rice and lemon water, buttermilk etc. to keep hydrated.
