Ill-Conceived Policies of BRS, Congress Derailed Telangana Economy: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: “Ill-conceived policies” of the previous BRS and current Congress governments were responsible for derailing the state's economy, Telangana BJP chief and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said on Sunday. He claimed this was reflected in the delayed payment of salaries of government employees.

"Only a ‘double-engine government’ can deliver corruption-free governance in the state," Kishan Reddy said at an event, where leaders from other political parties in the Khairatabad Assembly segment joined the BJP.

Kishan Reddy said not a single Central minister under the BJP-led government had been hit with a corruption case in the last 10 years.

He said the Congress and BRS governments worked against the aspirations of the people and this had drawn them to the BJP as an alternative in the last Lok Sabha polls.

Earlier, BJP's OBC Morcha released a new year diary at the state party office. BJP general secretary Dr Kasam Venkateshwarlu, OBC Morcha state president G. Anand Goud and others took part in it.
