ACB arrests divisional executive engineer for demanding money to clear pending bills

Warangal: Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday caught an Irrigation & CAD (I&CAD) Divisional Executive Engineer, Ganti Srikanth, red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹50,000.
The officer, currently posted at Palakurthi, was trapped at his residence in Bhavani Nagar, Hanamkonda. According to ACB officials, he had allegedly demanded the bribe to record final measurements in M-books and process pending bills.
The ACB team recovered the tainted cash and arrested the accused. He will be produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases in Warangal. Further investigation is underway.
