'I Now Believe I Will Get Justice': Vaman Rao's Father
Welcomes Supreme Court’s CBI Probe Order
Karimnagar: Gattu Kishan Rao, father of Gattu Vaman Rao, speaking to Deccan Chronicle said on Tuesday after the Supreme Court order said: “I now believe I will get justice and the actual culprits will be held. Neither the previous BRS government nor the police did justice and I have been fighting all these years.”
He noted: “The contract killers are out on bail. The real big names behind the murder have not been held accountable.”
Kishan Rao said the Congress government, the police and the judiciary had helped him. “The Supreme Court’s order is a great achievement, and I believe the original culprits and big shots behind the murder will finally go to jail,”
He demanded that the original video where Vaman Rao revealed the name of Putta Madhukar as he was dying must be handed over to the CBI.
Madhukar speaking to Deccan Chronicle, welcomed the inquiry and claimed that he would “emerge clean as a pearl” and Sridhar Babu whom he called the culprit. :Everything that happened is because of him. I will fully cooperate with the CBI,” Madhukar said.
He claimed that Sridhar Babu was against the rise of a BC leader rising in Manthani and was harassing him with baseless allegations as part of his conspiracy. “His intention is to remove me from the Manthani constituency so he can rule without any opposition. Until he kills me, he cannot get complete authority. I will expose him as the culprit in front of the public,” Madhukar claimed.
BJP Manthani in-charge Ch. Sunil Reddy welcomed the CBI inquiry and said: “The real culprits must be punished. The motive behind the murder must also be exposed, and this case should set an example in India.”
“We do not encourage murder politics, backstabbing or dictatorship. There is no place for such cruelty. Anyone who supports such politics must be exposed. No one has the right to take innocent lives,” Sunil Reddy said.
