HYDRAA Fences 400-Sq-Yd Park In Arjun Reddy Colony, Chandanagar Following Encroachment Complaints
HYDRAA fenced a 400-square-yard park in Chandanagar after residents complained of repeated encroachment attempts on land protected by a 2022 High Court order.

HYDRAA on Thursday said it had fenced a 400-square-yard park in Arjun Reddy Colony, Chandanagar, after residents complained of repeated attempts to encroach on the land. It is the same land which a 2022 High Court order had directed the GHMC to protect along with the layout’s internal roads.
The park forms part of a HUDA-approved layout developed in 1995 in Survey No. 123, spread across 3.24 acres with 41 plots. Residents had resisted several attempts to occupy the park and had earlier approached the High Court after some persons claimed ownership of the land.
The court later directed the GHMC to protect the park and internal roads. A delay in constructing a compound wall, however, led to repeated attempts to level the site with JCBs, which residents opposed. Residents then approached HYDRAA Prajavani following which HYDRAA fenced the site and installed boards identifying it as park land.
