Hydraa commissioner ordered Vertex Homes to clear Nallagandla Drain Blockage

Commissioner Ranganath Orders Clearance of Nallagandla Drain Blockage and Inspects Encroached Government Land

Hyderabad: HYDRAA commissioner A.V. Ranganath on Thursday directed Vertex Homes to immediately remove the soil and silt dumped in the drain line of Serilingampally’s Nallagandla lake. This followed a complaint by locals that water was overflowing on to the streets due to the blockage.

Vertex Homes officials promised to comply.

Ranganath also inspected government land at Quthbullapur’s Gajularamaram on Thursday. The agency received complaints that quarry leases had expired but the land was not vacated and was being encroached upon.

The commissioner inspected the encroachments on both the quarry land and the adjacent State Finance Corporation land. He instructed officials to make sure the 400 acres of government property did not get illegally occupied.

Ranganath directed officials to arrange a meeting next week with the parties that had taken the 78-acres land for lease.

The commissioner also inspected Mellakunta lake in Gopanpally and Mamasani Kunta in Puppalaguda. Based on survey numbers, he reviewed complaints about lake boundaries with officials.
