HYDRAA Clears Encroachments in Hydernagar, Restoring Land to 79 Owners

Hyderabad: The HYDRAA carried out demolition operations on Monday at the Diamond Estate Layout in Hydernagar, under Kukatpally limits, bringing long-awaited relief to 79 landowners.
The dispute involved 9 acres and 27 guntas in Survey No. 145 of the Hydernagar division, purchased by the plot owners in 2000. However, the land was allegedly encroached upon by an person named Shiva Durga Prasad and associates, who had secured a High Court stay that prevented the rightful owners from accessing their plots.
In 2024, after a prolonged legal battle, the court ruled in favor of the landowners. Despite the ruling, the encroachers failed to vacate the land. The aggrieved owners then filed a complaint with HYDRAA through the Prajavani grievance redressal platform.
HYDRAA deployed a team and removed all unauthorized structures from the site. The landowners expressed gratitude to the authorities for enforcing the court’s order and acting swiftly to reclaim their property.
