Hyderabad Youth Dies by Suicide in US After Struggling to Find Job
He allegedly died by suicide on August 21 after becoming distressed while searching for a job for the past four months.
Hyderabad: A Hyderabad-based student, who recently completed his master’s degree in the United States, died by suicide, reportedly after struggling to find a job several months after graduation. Sai Pradeep, known as Deepu among his family and friends, had travelled to Texas in 2024 to pursue his master’s degree. He had recently completed the course and was looking for employment when the tragedy occurred.
According to his cousin Deepthi, Pradeep had faced several health challenges since childhood. However, he worked hard to improve his health and fitness and became an inspiration to those around him through his discipline and commitment. During his time in the US, he also learnt Spanish, quickly picking up the language and demonstrating his curiosity and willingness to learn.
His family said his unexpected death has left his parents and relatives struggling to come to terms with the loss. They have launched a fundraiser to meet the expenses of bringing his body back to India and completing the funeral and other related arrangements.
