Once the project is operational, it will draw 20 thousand million cubic feet (tmc ft) from the Mallannasagar reservoir.
The HMWS&SB has invited expression of interest (EOI) for Godavari drinking water supply scheme Phases 2 and 3 and and filling of Osmansagar and Himayatsagar for rejuvenation of the Musi River.
Hyderabad, July 25: With an aim to bring 15 tmc ft of water from the Godavari for Hyderabad’s drinking water needs and 5 tmc ft for filling the twin reservoirs, the HMWS&SB has invited expression of interest (EOI) for Godavari drinking water supply scheme Phases 2 and 3 and and filling of Osmansagar and Himayatsagar for rejuvenation of the Musi River.
