According to reports, Gopi Krishna and his wife, Janaki, residents of the Chintal area, had gone to a gold shop to purchase jewellery with their daughter. The child consumed the gold-cleaning liquid that had been kept at the shop.

Hyderabad: A two-year-old girl died after consuming a liquid used for cleaning gold in Jeedimetla.
According to reports, Gopi Krishna and his wife, Janaki, residents of the Chintal area, had gone to a gold shop to purchase jewellery with their daughter. The child consumed the gold-cleaning liquid that had been kept at the shop.
On noticing this, the parents rushed the girl to a hospital for treatment. However, she died while undergoing treatment.
