Hyderabad Traffic Police Kick Off ‘Road Safety Summer Camp 2026’ for Kids

The camp is designed for children aged 10 to 15 years

Hyderabad: Joint commissioner of police for city traffic D. Joel Davis inaugurated a road safety summer camp for children at the Traffic Training Institute, Goshamahal, here on Monday. The camp is designed for children aged 10 to 15 years and covers a topics including traffic awareness and road safety, basic life support and fire safety besides dance, music, painting, handwriting improvement and personality development.

Davis said the objective was to create road safety awareness among children, which will go a long way in reducing fatalities caused by road accidents. He said 100 children had signed up for the camp this year.

He stated that children who learn road safety in the camp should in turn educate their parents, dear ones and friends about safety. He appealed that children should become traffic ambassadors.
