Hyderabad: Traffic Diversions For Mahila Sadasu
Roads between Tivoli crossroads and Plaza crossroads will remain closed during the event: Police
HYDERABAD: Malkajgiri traffic police issued an advisory ahead of the Mahila Sadasu programme at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad on Tuesday, announcing diversions and restrictions at key junctions to ease congestion.
Police said roads between Tivoli crossroads and Plaza crossroads will remain closed during the event, with heavy traffic expected at Sangeet, YMCA, Patny, SBI, Plaza, CTO, Brooke Bond, Tivoli, Sweekar Upakar, Secunderabad Club, Tadbund, Balamrai, Rasoolpura, Begumpet and Paradise. Motorists were advised to avoid SP Road, MG Road, RP Road and SD Road between 2 pm and 9 pm.
Vehicles from Begumpet towards Sangeet will be diverted at CTO via Balamrai, Brooke Bond, Tivoli and Sweekar Upakar before reaching YMCA. Traffic from Karkhana and JBS towards SBI‑Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards YMCA, Clock Tower and Patny, or via Tivoli, Brooke Bond and Balamrai. Vehicles from RP Road towards SBI will be diverted at Patny towards Paradise.
Traffic from Sangeeth towards Begumpet will be diverted through YMCA, Clock Tower, Patny, Paradise, CTO and Rasoolpura. Vehicles from Bowenpally and Tadbund heading to Tivoli will be diverted at Brook Bond towards CTO, Ranigunj and Tank Bund. If congestion intensifies near Tivoli and Secunderabad Club, diversions will extend towards Bowenpally Market and AOC. Police advised commuters to start early and use Metro Rail services where possible.
