Hyderabad: Following instructions from the Election Commission of India (ECI), electoral registration officers (EROs) will hold special camps on October 15 and 16 at every polling station, where the applicants whose names did not figure in the draft electoral roll can file applications in Form 6, for enrolling as new voters.

Chief Electoral officer C. Sudharshan Reddy instructed poll officials to ensure smooth conduct of the camps. He directed the Hyderabad district election officer and collectors to issue instructions to EROs to organise these camps at each polling station. Apart from the ECI’s booth level officers (BLOs), booth level agents belonging to political parties were urged to remain at the polling stations.
