Hyderabad SHE Teams Make Special Arrangements at Ganesh Pandals, Immersion Processions

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad SHE Teams are making special arrangements during the upcoming Ganesh festival to ensure a safe and secure environment for all devotees, especially women and children visiting pandals, immersion processions, and crowded places.
Women Safety Wing, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dr. Lavanya NJP said, “Celebrate with devotion, not with wrong intention – SHE Teams are in Action.”
The DCP said further stated SHE Teams will be vigilant round-the-clock at all major junctions, pandal areas, and immersion routes. Officers in mufti, supported by surveillance cameras, will keep a close watch on gatherings to curb incidents of eve teasing, misbehavior, stalking, or harassment and action will be taken against the culprits.

The SHE Teams asked the people to be aware in public places. Women and children are requested to stay alert in public places. In case of any misbehavior or molestation, they are advised to raise a complaint with She Teams or dial 100/112 for immediate action.
“Fraudsters often create fake profiles to gain your trust and exploit you. Always verify the identity of people you interact with online,” officials said advising the people to limit the amount of personal information being shared on social media. Fraudsters can use this information to impersonate you or carry out identity theft.
The people must use strong, unique passwords for your accounts and enable two-factor authentication wherever possible to enhance security.
