HYDERABAD: A 22-year-old woman was critically injured after a school bus ran over her near Attapur Pillar no. 130, in Rajendra Nagar Police Station limits on Tuesday.
According to Rajendranagar CI K. Kastro, the woman has been identified as Harika, a resident of Attapur. She works at a pharmaceutical company.
According to the police, the woman was crossing the road near pillar no.130 with her father, when an overspeeding school bus belonging to TIME School, Bandlaguda Jagir, hit her at around 7.30 am.
At around 12.40 pm, Harika was shifted to a hospital. "She is currently on the ventilator as she has suffered severe internal bleeding in the brain. She is being treated," the doctors said.
A case was registered under section 337 of the BNS.
