Hyderabad: Prominent Realtor B Ram Reddy Dies by Suicide
Prominent realtor Banala Ram Reddy, and head of Home Land group, allegedly died by suicide on Wednesday at his farmhouse in Nedunuru village, Kandukur mandal in Ranga Reddy District.
Hyderabad: Prominent realtor Banala Ram Reddy allegedly died by suicide reportedly due to financial stress at his farmhouse in Nedunuru village, under the jurisdiction of Kandukur police station in Ranga Reddy district. As per reports, Kandukur Police recovered a suicide note and have registered a case.
Ram Reddy had been living in Manikonda, Hyderabad, and running his real estate business there. Reports indicate that in 2018 he took up around 250 acres in the Patancheru area for development.
Disputes and litigation over the land reportedly delayed the project. He is said to have taken on heavy debt trying to resolve these disputes, while also facing issues with landowners, which reportedly caused him severe distress.
The investigation is being led by CI Venkateswarlu, and the body has been sent to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. Police are examining all angles behind the incident.
