Hyderabad police grants conditional permission for shobha yatra

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police here on Saturday granted permission with certain conditions for Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra to be taken out by BJP MLA T Raja Singh on April 6 from Aakashpuri Hanuman Temple in Dhoolpet to Hanuman Vyayamshala in Ramkoti.
In an order addressed to Raja Singh, Hyderabad Additional Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Vikram Singh Mann has made it clear that no inconvenience should be caused to the general public and also no obstructions should be caused for free flow of traffic.
There should be no explicit and implicit violation of any law and the organizers must not create traffic problems. They should ensure that the yatra must be kept on the extreme left on the road and the other half of the road should remain free for regular traffic movement.
The organizers should not deviate from the permitted route and they should not halt in the middle of the road for delivering speeches. They should not use DJs, sound mixers, high sound generating equipment, mobile mikes and loud speakers in the procession and also after the public meeting in Hanuman Vyayamshala.
Bursting of fire crackers is strictly prohibited along with sprinkling of vermilion, turmeric, ‘gulal’, flowers or other objects on passers-by under any circumstances.
The persons in yatra should not carry any sticks, swords, knives, fire arms, inflammable material or any other weapons. Sticks used for carrying flags or decorations should not be more than two feet in length and should be of split bamboo.
No provocative banners, placards and flexis hurting sentiments of other persons permitted.
No provocative speeches, slogans or postures, which can hurt the feelings of any section of the public, shall be raised or displayed during yatra and no person under the influence of alcohol or any other narcotic drugs should be allowed in vehicles moving in yatra.
Without written permission from the police, the organizers should not use any flying camera, drone or hot air balloon which is a hazard for public safety in a crowded area, he said.
Adhering to instructions given by the police officers from time to time and providing young volunteers in sufficient numbers on all four sides of the procession were among the conditions laid down by the police for the successful conduct of the yatra.
