Hyderabad: Online Option For Enumeration Form Submission
Chennaiah clarified that the provision works only if the voter’s name matches exactly in both Aadhaar and the electoral roll: Reports

HYDERABAD: With the enumeration phase being rolled out by the Election Commission of India (ECI) across Telangana from June 25, authorities have announced the provision to fill the Enumeration Form (EF) online using Aadhaar authentication. The facility requires the voter’s name to match exactly with records in the electoral roll and Aadhaar.
At an awareness programme on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) organised by the Telangana Press Academy on Monday, B. Chennaiah, State Level Nodal Officer (Training), explained that voters unable to submit the EF physically — such as those abroad — can log on to the Citizen Service Portal (voters.eci.gov.in) to complete and submit the form online. “During the enumeration phase, if the voter is temporarily not available at the house, the online form can be downloaded and submitted online,” he said.
On the portal, the option is listed under SIR‑2026. Once ‘Fill Enumeration Form’ is selected, a login box appears with options for entering mobile number or EPIC number. After entering the EPIC number, an OTP is sent to the Aadhaar‑linked mobile. Completion of the form with Aadhaar authentication is treated as e‑Sign, and the submission is reflected in the BLO’s app.
Chennaiah clarified that the provision works only if the voter’s name matches exactly in both Aadhaar and the electoral roll. “If there is a variation, the system will not detect. In such cases, the form can be submitted through the head of the family or an adult member, who can sign and hand it over to the BLO,” he added.
