Hyderabad Mountaineer Thanks CV Anand After Successful Ladakh Summit
Despite battling severe high-altitude sickness, mountaineer Yashwanth successfully summited two peaks in the Korzok Range and thanked Telangana DGP CV Anand for his support.

Hyderabad: A young mountaineer from Hyderabad, Yashwanth, successfully completed a challenging expedition in Ladakh's Korzok Range, scaling two peaks above 6,000 metres — Nomad Peak (6,115 metres) and an unnamed peak exceeding 6,000 metres.
The achievement came despite a major setback during the expedition, as Yashwanth suffered severe high-altitude sickness, with his oxygen saturation level dropping to 66 per cent at the base camp. Following recovery, he resumed the expedition and successfully completed the remaining summit attempts.
In a message addressed to Telangana DGP C.V. Anand, Yashwanth expressed gratitude for the encouragement and support he had received over the years. He said he carried the Indian National Flag and a photograph of the police commissioner to the summit as a mark of respect and appreciation.
"Whatever I have achieved today would not have been possible without your blessings, guidance, motivation and constant support," Yashwanth said, adding that the support he received helped him overcome the toughest moments of the expedition.
Responding to the achievement, C.V. Anand congratulated Yashwanth and praised his dedication to the demanding and risky sport of mountaineering.
"Congratulations Yashwanth for your dedication in this very risky and challenging sport. My support will always be there for you to achieve your dreams. Take care and be safe," Anand posted on social media.
