Hyderabad: Medical Check-Up Begins for Haj 2027 Pilgrims
Medical check-ups for 3,809 selected Haj 2027 pilgrims began at nine government hospitals on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: Medical checkups for 3,809 selected Haj 2027 pilgrims from Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal districts began at nine government hospitals on Wednesday and will continue till September 22, the Telangana State Haj Committee said.
Committee chairman Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Biabani stated that medical check-ups are being organised to ensure the health and well-being of the selected pilgrims.
He added that the process will continue through September 22 and appealed to all pilgrims to reach their respective designated hospitals ahead of time.
Afzal Biyabani thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for releasing an additional `10,000 to each Haj-2026 pilgrim which they had to pay earlier for increased fuel charges.
