Hyderabad Marks 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas with Cycle Rally to War Memorial
The rally was flagged off by Major General N. Srinivas Rao (Retd) and school principal Smitha Govind and coordinated by Major General Naozar B. Patel (Retd). Cyclists paid tribute at the Bison War Memorial and the rally concluded at the Param Vir Chakra Park.
Hyderabad:To commemorate the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Telangana, in collaboration with Telangana and Andhra Sub Area and Army Public School, Bolaram, organised a cycle rally on Saturday.
The rally was flagged off by Major General N. Srinivas Rao (Retd) and school principal Smitha Govind and coordinated by Major General Naozar B. Patel (Retd). Cyclists paid tribute at the Bison War Memorial and the rally concluded at the Param Vir Chakra Park.
Among those who participated were sanstha general secretary Gaurav Sainani Gopu Ramana Reddy, members of the Palmette Bicycling Club, teachers and students of Army Public School, Bolaram, veterans and citizens.
The rally served as a fitting tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Kargil heroes and reaffirmed the nation's commitment to remembering their supreme sacrifice while inspiring the youth to uphold the ideals of courage, patriotism and selfless service.
