Hyderabad: A man was allegedly stabbed to death in Hyderabad’s Old City following a dispute, triggering tension in the Balapur area.
The incident occurred on Sunday night at Mariyam Colony under the Balapur Police Station limits. The victim has been identified as Fahad Bin Abdul Rehman.
According to police, Fahad had an altercation with two people. One of them allegedly attacked him with a knife, causing grievous injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing care. Upon receiving information, Balapur police shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
Police said they are probing the case from multiple angles to ascertain the motive. As part of the investigation, CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined for key evidence.
