Hyderabad Malls and Theatres Under Scrutiny for Parking Fee Violations

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner Amrapali Kata said that action had been initiated on commercial establishments including malls and multiplexes that collected parking fee illegally.
She said that many malls, multiplexes and cinema theatres in the city were collecting the parking fee against the rules and that the corporation had sent special teams to inspect those establishments.
During the inspections, GHMC officials found out that a theater that was registered as a single screen was running multiple screens.
Food stalls at some of the theatres were found to be operating in unhygienic conditions. Notices have been issued malls and multiplexes flouting norms, said GHMC in a press release.
