Hyderabad: Job Mela Held For Minority Youth

HYDERABAD: A mega job mela aimed at providing employment opportunities to minority youth was organised at Red Rose Palace in Nampally on Tuesday under the aegis of the Telangana minorities welfare department and Telangana minorities finance corporation.
The programme was inaugurated by Hyderabad in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar and minorities welfare minister Mohammed Azharuddin in the presence of several public representatives and officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Azharuddin said the Telangana government under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was committed to creating employment opportunities and empowering minority youth through skill development initiatives.
He said the government was working towards generating nearly one lakh jobs and ensuring sustainable employment for minority communities without discrimination.
The minister said similar job melas would be organised in other districts. He also urged youth to utilise the skill development programmes.
Adding in the same vein, Ponnam Prabhaker said, “I hope that through this initiative, minority youth will secure suitable employment opportunities and lead happy, financially stable lives.”
Around 50 to 60 companies from sectors including IT, pharmaceuticals, logistics and healthcare participated in the event.
