HYDERABAD: An e-auction conducted by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) for the sale of plots in the Medipally layout has attracted a large number of buyers, with the highest bid received being ₹80,000 per square yard.
Of the 68 plots in the layout, 63 plots were auctioned, with an average bid rate of ₹56,260 per square yard. The auction generated a total revenue of approximately ₹120 crore.
The HMDA auction, which is expected to further accelerate development and investment in East Hyderabad, attracted significant participation from bidders across Hyderabad and surrounding regions, reflecting strong market confidence, especially in HMDA-developed layouts and the growing demand for well-planned residential developments.
