HYDERABAD: GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan, the Hyderabad district election authority (DEA) inspected the ongoing distribution of notices under the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll at Polling Stations 94 and 95 in Karwan Assembly constituency. He interacted with the booth level officers (BLOs), their supervisors and electoral registration officers and reviewed the progress of the work.
Karnan instructed the officials to ensure the notices reached the electors without delay and that voters received proper guidance regarding the submission of the required documents and forms, according to a release.
He also interacted with residents and explained the importance of the SIR exercise and requested the electors to carefully verify the details mentioned in the notice and submit the required documents and information within the prescribed timeline.
