Hyderabad: Fire Breaks Out at Gachibowli Apartment, 15 Bikes Gutted

Hyderabad: Panic gripped residents of an apartment building in TNGO Colony, Gachibowli, after a fire broke out on Monday morning.

The fire started in the building's cellar due to a short circuit in the parking area, officials said. Thick smoke soon spread to the upper floors, leaving residents struggling with suffocation. Firefighting personnel rushed to the spot and rescued people trapped on the upper floors.

While no casualties were reported, two residents fell severely ill due to smoke inhalation and were shifted to a private hospital for treatment. The fire gutted 15 two-wheelers parked in the cellar. Further details are awaited.
