Hyderabad: The Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), Hyderabad Chapter, hosted the national seminar - Fire, Electrical, Security and Automation (FESA 2025) for tall buildings, bringing together senior government officials, developers, MEP consultants, fire experts, architects, and other key stakeholders to discuss building safety, best practices and emerging technologies for India’s rapidly expanding high-rise ecosystem.

With Hyderabad witnessing rapid vertical growth and over 872 tall building projects in the pipeline, the city further strengthened its position as a major global high-rise destination through the deliberations at FESA 2025. The seminar underscored the critical importance of ensuring safety, resilience and future-ready infrastructure in high-rise development, with discussions spanning fire protection, electrical safety, security systems, automation and integrated building management.

As part of this focus, Suraksha Index certification by FSAI was highlighted as a pivotal benchmark for enhancing safety and performance across upcoming tall buildings.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker Vikram Singh Mann, Director General, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence, said, “Hyderabad’s fast-changing skyline demands uncompromising compliance with fire and life-safety norms at every stage from design to operations.”
