Hyderabad: Cycle Rally Held to Raise Awareness Against Drug Abuse

Hyderabad: Inspector Srinivas Rao of EAGLE Force flagged off a cycle rally in Hyderabad on Sunday as part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

The rally, organised by Akshara Spoorthi Foundation, featured BJP MP Dr K. Laxman and aimed to spread awareness about drug abuse.

“The rally reinforced the message that preventing drug abuse is a collective responsibility requiring the involvement of government agencies, educational institutions, voluntary organisations, parents and the public,” Dr Laxman said.

EAGLE Force director Sandeep Shandilya said the programme highlighted the agency’s role in enforcement, intelligence and awareness.

Participants urged the public to report drug‑related information through helpline 1908.
