Hyderabad: Class X Student Allegedly Assaulted by Classmates at School Hostel
Following the incident, Abhishek's parents lodged a complaint with the police, seeking action against those allegedly involved in the assault.
Hyderabad: A Class X student was allegedly assaulted by a group of classmates at a hostel attached to Sri Chaitanya High School in Dammaigudem of Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
According to reports, the student, identified as Abhishek, was allegedly beaten by 10-12 other students using sticks, plates and shoes. The incident reportedly took place at the hostel.
The school authorities allegedly informed Abhishek’s parents that he had fallen down the stairs. However, the student later told his parents that he was assaulted by his classmates in the name of ragging.
Abhishek is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Following the incident, his parents lodged a complaint with the police, seeking action against those allegedly involved in the assault.
The parents have demanded strict action against the students responsible for the incident and also questioned the school management for allegedly concealing the matter.
