Hyderabad: 40-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In Penthouse Bathroom

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the bathroom of her penthouse in Madhuranagar on Thursday morning.
The deceased, Harika, a native of Guntur district, was living alone in a penthouse above Bhargavi Ladies Hostel. Building inmates raised an alarm after she had not been seen for two days, and a foul smell started emanating from the room.
They informed Madhuranagar Police, and when the Police reached the spot, they found her decomposed body in the bathroom. Preliminary investigation suggests she died two days ago, possibly after a fall in the bathroom.
The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death. Police said they are probing all angles, including natural causes and murder.
