Hyderabad: ₹3,145-Crore Road Maintenance Plan Cleared
The government has permitted GHMC to invite common tenders for execution of works across the three civic bodies under the Telangana core urban region

The works include 67.36 km of roads in Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, 69.90 km in Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation and 32.13 km in GHMC.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has accorded administrative sanction of ₹3,145 crore for Phase-2 of the Comprehensive Road Maintenance Programme (CRMP) across GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
The project will cover 1,045.01 km of roads. Of the total outlay, ₹2,230 crore has been allocated for BT and CC roads covered under Phase-1 using conventional methods, spanning 744.22 km. Another ₹208 crore has been sanctioned for 64.49 km of additional CC roads not covered in the first phase. In addition, ₹707 crore has been earmarked for BT roads not covered in Phase-1, to be taken up using full depth reclamation technology.
