HPS Denies Land Grab, Donation Claims

Hyderabad Public School clarified that its campus is fully surveyed, legally documented and secured by boundary walls, with all assets protected for the benefit of present and future students.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Public School (HPS) has refuted allegations that 30 acres of its land were being usurped, calling the claims “false.” The institution also denied receiving a ₹300‑crore donation or any funds from the alumnus in question.

In a statement released Monday, HPS said reports of funds being misused were “baseless fabrications” aimed at damaging the reputation of the school, which it described as devoted to nurturing future leaders.

The school clarified that its campus is fully surveyed, legally documented and secured by boundary walls, with all assets protected for the benefit of present and future students.

Addressing online claims of a fee hike, HPS asserted that it maintains one of Hyderabad’s most competitive fee structures among peer institutions. “Despite providing world‑class infrastructure, academic excellence, and comprehensive sports and co‑curricular programmes, our fees remain substantially lower than comparable schools,” the statement said.
