Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at a private hostel in Madhapur when the family members of a girl assaulted its owner for misbehaving with her.
On receiving information that the hostel owner Satya Prakash misbehaved with a girl, who was preparing for the NEET exam, her family members rushed to the hostel and attacked him. Irate family members caught hold of Prakash and beat him up.
He, however, managed to escape from the spot. The family members also damaged the furniture, window planes and flower pots on the premises. Following receipt of information, the police rushed to the spot and pacified them and later brought Prakash to the police station for further action.
