Homebuyers in Limbo as SAS Tower Stalls
RERA instructed the builders to prepare a clear timeline for completion and urged all parties to cooperate.

Hyderabad: Work on the SAS I Tower project has been stalled for months due to disputes between builders and landowners, leaving more than 400 homebuyers anxious about their future homes.
The buyers, under the SAS I Tower Investors Association, alleged that delays stemmed from poor communication, financial disputes and landowners withholding permission for sales. At one point, construction stopped completely.
Looking into the matter, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), after examining the matter, held both builders and landowners equally responsible for completing the project. It directed that all revenue from sales must be deposited in a dedicated account and used solely for construction.
RERA also instructed the builders to prepare a clear timeline for completion and urged all parties to cooperate. Further, it mandated that an official buyers’ association be formed to ensure transparency and prevent further delays.
